Re-Mem Password Manager (Windows-64bit)

Your privacy is our absolute priority. Re-Mem is a zero-knowledge local password manager designed to keep your vault encrypted and stored strictly on your device.

✓ Zero-Knowledge Architecture

We do not collect, transmit, store, or monitor your passwords. Your encrypted database file resides solely on your computer's local hard drive.

Section 01

Zero-Knowledge Principle

Re-Mem functions under a strict zero-knowledge architecture. This means:

  • We have zero visibility into your master password, vault data, TOTP secrets, or any other credentials stored within the application.
  • Your master password is never sent to us or any third party. It is used locally on your device to derive the cryptographic key needed to lock and unlock your local database.
Section 02

No Data Collection & Tracking

We value your digital privacy. The application is designed to function completely offline without any tracking mechanisms.

  • No analytics: We do not track your app usage, active sessions, or feature preferences.
  • No telemetry: No error logs or usage details are automatically sent back to our servers.
  • No account registration: You do not need to register an email address or make an account with us to use the app.
Section 03

Device Permissions

Re-Mem requires minimal system permissions to function as a desktop utility:

3.1 File System Access

The App requests access to read and write to your local storage. This is used solely to:

  • Create and save your encrypted vault file (`.db` format) on your device.
  • Update the vault when you add, edit, or delete credentials.

3.2 Keyboard & Input Hook (Autofill)

The App registers a global keyboard shortcut (e.g., Ctrl+Alt+L) within the operating system. This is used solely to:

  • Intercept the hotkey combination when pressed.
  • Trigger the local credential search and automatically type the focused account's username and password (Autofill).
Section 04

Master Password & Data Recovery

Because Re-Mem is offline-first and runs under zero-knowledge principles:

  • If you lose your Master Password, Novvitech Services cannot retrieve or reset it. Your vault data will be permanently inaccessible.

We highly recommend keeping a secure backup of your vault file and writing down your master password in a safe, physical location.

Section 05

Third-Party Services

Re-Mem does not communicate with, embed, or send your data to any third-party APIs, analytics platforms, or cloud providers. All processes, including the generation of 2FA (TOTP) authenticator codes, are executed locally on your machine.

Section 06

Data Security

Your vault is secured using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. The cryptographic key is derived locally using PBKDF2 with high iteration counts, rendering your vault safe against brute-force attacks on your local storage.

Section 07

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
