Privacy PolicyFTP Uploader (Android)

Information Collection & Usage

FTP Uploader is designed as a direct client utility application:

• No Third-Party Analytics / Tracking: We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, analytics, device identifiers, or usage telemetry with external servers.
• Server Credentials: Any server credentials (host address, port, username, password, SSH host key fingerprints) you enter are stored strictly on your local device using Android's hardware-backed EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES-256 GCM encryption). They are used exclusively to connect to the remote servers you specify.
• Files & Data: Files selected for upload are read locally from your device storage via Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) and transmitted directly to your target SFTP/FTPS/FTP server. No data passes through intermediate proxy servers.

Permissions Required

FTP Uploader requires the following system permissions to function correctly:

• Internet Access: Required to establish SFTP, FTPS, or FTP socket connections with your target server.
• Network State: Used to verify active network connectivity and enforce optional "Wi-Fi Only" upload rules.
• Foreground Service: Required to maintain background file uploads with live notifications when the app is minimized.

Data Security

We employ industry-standard cryptographic practices. Local credential storage is protected by master keys stored in the Android KeyStore. Sockets use TLS/SSL encryption for FTPS and SSH transport layer encryption for SFTP.
